Australian Bureau of Statistics figures have the country’s population skyrocketing past 30 million well within 15 years.
Australia’s population could hit 30 million by 2029, according to the bureau of statistics.
The country’s population is projected to reach the magical mark between 2029 and 2033, research released on Thursday has revealed.
“The projected time for the nation to grow by five million people on current indications will be similar, if not a little shorter, than the 14 years it took to grow from 20 million to 25 million,” ABS director Anthony Grubb said.
